As someone who writes extensively online, I'm always looking to improve my writing and awareness of sensitive issues. Recently I decided to test if AI could help identify potential biases I may miss on my own.
I copied a random value text into an AI chatbot and asked it to analyze the text for any concerning language or attitudes related to race, gender, religion, or ability status. To my surprise, the chatbot actually flagged a few usual instances where wording could come across as exclusive rather than inclusive to certain groups.

Analyse the text for racial bias and DEI issues
I was impressed that even without any contextual cues, the chatbots can detect subtle biases that slip in during writing. It now gives me a chance to refine my posts and ensure wider relatability for my diverse audience.
Using AI for this type of sensitivity check seems a very promising application. With continued learning, assistants may get better at catching even the most nuanced forms of unintentional prejudice. A helpful extra pair of "eyes" as I strive to share ideas responsibly.
